Frequently asked questions

Can i bring my own food to the festival?

We encourage you to use the food traders at the festival as their contribution helps to keep the ticket price down - and they are fab foodies as well! :) Yes, you are welcome to bring a picnic but please do not bring in any glass items. Please take all of your rubbish home with you.

Can we bring our own alcohol to the festival?

We are sorry but we cannot allow you to bring your own alcohol into the event space as it is a licenced area. Please be aware that there will be polite bag checks as you enter.

Can i bring my dog to the festival?

No dogs are permitted within the fenced area of the site (other than assistance dogs).

May i bring a festival tent?

No - We prefer you not to bring elements that will obscure the view of others. This includes big beach umbrellas etc - but please bring normal umbrellas, rain coats, bikinis, sun screen - cos you never know :)

Will there be free water available?

Yes, we have our fab sponsor, The Oaks bar/restaurant based in Highcliffe supplying free water to drink this year.

Will there be seating?

If you'd like to "sit the next one out", then please bring your own garden seat or cushion - picnic blankets are ok too!

Park & Ride - Will a Park & Ride service be available?

A Park & Ride service for festival goers this year is available for just £1 per person, each way (children under 12 travel free). The route will run in both directions between Fawcett' Fields and the event site. Timetable: https://www.highcliffevillage.com/music-festival

What are the T & C's?

Will there be a first aid station?

First Aid Responders: We do hope that all our visitors stay safe, but if anyone should need any First Aid treatment, there will be a first aid tent near to the management tent - to the right as you enter the event site.

Cash or card?

There will be card readers available for entry, tombola, raffle etc but just in case the system goes wrong (cos life is like that sometimes) we advise you to have some cash on you to make sure you enjoy the day :)

Is there a dedicated charity?

Yes, Rotary Foundation, part of Rotary International is the dedicated event charity. Members of Highcliffe Rotary plus other local Rotary clubs will be supporting the event by volunteering to be stewards etc. We ask you to please donate to help support their worthy causes.
