About this event

Overview

Do you work in a storytelling role in the scripted sector? Do you want a better understanding of sustainability and how it can be reflected in the narratives you create? This 90-minute workshop is for you.

As well as building a foundational understanding of the climate and nature crises, you will learn how to incorporate sustainability into your storytelling and learn why audiences want to hear these stories. This training is best suited for industry professionals in scripted television working in editorial roles such as researcher, producer or director.

In this interactive session you will discuss common roadblocks and workshop solutions as well as learn from other industry professionals in similar roles to you.

After completing the session, attendees will receive a Climate Onscreen Workshop: Scripted Television certificate, badge, and details of further support available in this area.

This certificate will count as evidence towards the editorial training question of the BAFTA albert Carbon Action Plan when attended by a senior member of the editorial/creative team. [Question: Has someone senior in the editorial/creative team been to editorial training on sustainability?]

Please note that the content of this training is designed for UK audiences.

BAFTA albert makes every effort to ensure our trainings are accessible to all. Please contact alberttraining@bafta.org if you have any questions or would like to discuss the access adjustments available for albert Academy trainings.
