Meet Up - Coffee and Chat

Henry Street Garden Centre | Arborfield

Tuesday 3rd June - 11.00am

An opportunity to meet in person to chat and share experiences.

Come along to get to know others that understand how your cancer diagnosis may have made you feel, the complexities of treatment and the journey you find yourself on.

We'll meet over coffee (and cake if you fancy it!) which gives you the chance to chat and ask questions and get to know each other in a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment. You are welcome to bring your partner or a friend.

At Henry Street, they have 40 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside which is now in the care of the fifth generation of our family – brothers Mark, Peter, Alan and Tim Goold, they are very much hands-on in running their independent family firm.

They absolutely love everything to do with gardens, plants, pets and the outdoor lifestyle, and are renowned for their horticultural expertise. Roses are their specialist subject, and people come from all over southern England and beyond. They've been growing roses for nearly 100 years and have over 350 varieties!

They've got a lovely restaurant area where we have reserved a table. We'll be tucked away in the function room (on the left as you walk through the Restaurant), look out for the leaflets on the table if you don't know us.

Parking is free.

Covid/Illness - Please ensure that you take suitable precautions so that you feel safe. If any restrictions are reintroduced we will ask you to adhere to them. We endeavour to ensure that the environment is well ventilated and as safe as we can make it.

The Cancer Support Network has been established to support people living in and around Wokingham and Bracknell, and surrounding areas of Berkshire that are affected by cancer.

Meeting other people with similar experiences can be invaluable. Self-help and support groups offer a chance for people to talk to others and come together to share experiences and concerns.
