During any given week at work there are a number of times we start to speak – to offer an idea, or contribute to a conversation… and suddenly, we don’t. We hold back, freeze up, or think better of it. Often it’s hard to know exactly why we don’t feel comfortable sharing, but what we do know is that every time we hold back, we lose an opportunity to be heard, to change things, or to build relationships.

In this talk we explore psychological safety, how a lack of it encourages silence, and what we can do to build an environment where we can learn and innovate at our best.
