CALLING TRAINEE PHARMACISTS AND TECHNICIANS FROM ALL SECTORS OF PHARMACY.

<ul><li>Find out more about Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Faculties and some of the other exciting things happening in the Midlands Region?
</li><li>Connect with trainees from other sectors in your local area and begin to build networks?
</li></ul>The GPhC standards include pharmacists and technicians being confident and capable of operating in multi-professional teams. This is an opportunity for you to think about your role outside of your immediate work location and how you contribute to patient care.

The Connected Pharmacy Programme has been running for pharmacists and technicians in all 11 Integrated Care Systems in the Midlands Region, throughout the year. It has created local networks and led to integrated work on topics important to us all such as Patient Safety, Transitions of Care and the Greener NHS. 
We want to encourage new pharmacists and technicians to get involved.
 DATE: Thursday 13th October 2022TIME: 12:30 - 13:30 (Zoom)The session will be introduced by Richard Seal, Midlands Regional Chief Pharmacist and will include:
<ul><li>Understanding how different sectors of pharmacy work together on pharmacy services including the Discharge Medicines Service and the Blood Pressure Checks Service.
</li><li>Updates on the development of Pharmacy Faculties across the `Midlands region to support pharmacy workforce.
Learning more about pharmacy in your Integrated Care System.
</li><li>Small group work with the opportunity for you to meet other trainees.</li></ul>Whilst this webinar is designed for trainees, early years pharmacists and technicians and tutors/mentors are welcome too! If you have friends who are trainees please let them know and encourage them to come along as well. We hope you can join us and look forward to meeting you.
