About this event

An interactive information session led by a Senior Midwife from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust to support your choice and aid your decision making around the birth of your baby. The session will provide information on the risks and benefits of choosing an elective caesarean section.

This session is for you if you are having your first baby and do not have any medical conditions or problems with your pregnancy or labour that might indicate that a Caesarean birth is necessary – but think you might prefer to have a Caesarean birth rather than a vaginal birth.

This class is for families booked with Imperial Maternity. Please input your hospital number (MRN) in the booking details so we can verify your information.

Please only book one ticket per family unit - ie if you wish your birth partner to attend you may share the same ticket/link.

This online class is held over Microsoft Teams and will last around an hour depending on questions! Please mute your mics to avoid echo but we would love to see cameras on!
