Overview

Join us for Wild Purpose’s Conversation Café: An Evening of Mindful, Meaningful Connection Across Generations

An evening light softens the garden. Generations come together to sit around a fire pit.

You arrive as you are.

Perhaps carrying questions. Perhaps simply curious. Perhaps longing for a conversation that digs a little deeper.

You sit with someone from a different generation. Someone whose life has unfolded differently from yours. You listen. You share. You notice what it feels like to be heard without interruption.

Something shifts.

Time slows. Stories emerge. Connection forms naturally, without effort.

You begin to see your own experiences differently. Through someone else’s eyes. Through your own reflection.

This is the Conversation Café.

A gentle, guided space for mindful, meaningful conversation across generations.

Together, you’ll explore what it means to belong to a connected, caring community. A space where every voice is valued. Where curiosity leads. Where listening is enough.

In a fast-moving world, spaces like this are rare. Yet something in you recognises their importance.

What might you discover if you gave yourself this time?

Everyone is welcome. Whether you are 18, 80, or anywhere in between. No experience is needed.

The session is free to attend. Donations are warmly welcomed.

You’ll leave feeling calmer. More connected. More aware of what matters.

How the evening unfolds

Each Conversation Café is gently guided, creating space for connection to grow naturally:

• A short grounding meditation to help you arrive fully

• Playful introductions and light-hearted speed-friending

• Shared intentions for open, respectful conversation

• A Community Challenge to spark meaningful dialogue

• Quiet time for reflection and journaling

There is no pressure. Just an invitation to be present.

Accessibility

We aim to make these spaces accessible to as many people as possible.

Wheelchair users are warmly welcome. Paths are woodchipped, and there is a ramp into the garden area. Please note the compost toilet has a high step.

If you have accessibility needs, please email hello@wildpurpose.org so we can support you.

We are grateful to Plot 22 for holding this space with us.
