Our band of volunteer repairers can help fix all kinds of things - from bikes to clothing to radios, lamps, ornaments - almost anything you can carry, in fact! We like to show you how we do it, so that if it happens again, you might be able to do it yourself. Both repairers and repairees have a very enjoyable and rewarding time, while enjoying a coffee or cake from Cottenham Community Centre Coffe Shop.

We'll have a paper copy ready for you to sign when you arrive.
Please book either a morning (10-12) or afternoon (12-2) ticket, choosing the ticket description that fits your item best, and we will contact you with a more precise time slot. Let us know as much as you can about the item and what the problem is, as this will help us match you to a repairer with the right skills and ensure we bring the correct tools and spares. You don't need to print the ticket or bring it with you to the event.

Frequently asked questions
Pretty much anything you can carry! (We don't promise we can repair it, of course.) We can only do very limited things to Apple products, tablets, laptops, smart phones and digital cameras. We do ask that what you bring is reasonably clean, for example please empty hoovers!
No. You can just turn up on the day and we will usually be able to fit you in, but you may have to wait. Book to avoid disappointment! If you book and then can't make it please let us know so that someone on our waiting list can attend instead.
Ideally we'd love you to walk or cycle. If you don't live in the village, check https://bit.ly/40vTNiF to see if there is a Repair Cafe closer to you. The Citi8 bus service from Cambridge stops in the village. Please note there is no parking at the Community Centre, so you'll need to park and walk.

Yes! Thank you - donations pay for any spares used in the repair, insurance, refreshments for the repairers and to support our wonderful venue, Cottenham Community Centre.
You can only book one time slot, but if there's time in your slot because your first repair was quick or couldn't be fixed we may look at additional items. It all depends how busy we are on the day.
No, we'll have your name and item on file so you don't need to bring a ticket.
