These sessions are designed to be a calming escape from the noise of daily life. No pressure, no perfection, just the soothing rhythm of making something with your own hands.
WHO RUNS THE SESSION?
Colour Therapist and Crafts Expert Momtaz Begum-Hossain will guide through different ideas to inspire your creativity.

WHEN DO SESSION TAKE PLACE?
These sessions are scheduled to take place on the last Sunday of the month, 4-6pm, but there may be some months there are changes so please check to see when events are listed and book before you come (July for example is a week earlier than normal!)
Please aim to arrive on time so the session can start promptly - they aren't drop in, it's recommended you stay the full two hours to fully immerse yourself in the mindful nature of making.
WHERE IS MY TICKET DONATION GOING?
These sessions are donation-based and your full ticket price will be donated to the Well Bean Co, a community cafe and event space that has proudly been funding mental health initiatives since 2017. Here's a few words from them...
"Your donations for classes and events help us sustain and grow our vital community and mental health projects. From running costs to creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone, your support ensures that we can continue to offer meaningful events, workshops, and resources for our community. Together, we’re making a difference—one cup, class, and connection at a time."
ARE YOU FUNDED?
No. We do not receive funds or grants to run these sessions. Momtaz runs them voluntarily using her own craft supplies as she believes there should be no barriers to creativity and is keen to encourage more adults to do crafts to experience their wellbeing benefits.
Please get in touch if you would like to donate any craft materials or make a donation towards purchasing craft materials that can be used in the sessions by all participants.
If you have any accessibility requirements please email the organiser beforehand so arrangements can be made to ensure you have the best experience: momtazbh@hotmail.com.
