Crafting a Hippocratic Oath for the DataKind UK Community

Most data represents or impacts people. At DataKind UK, our projects often involve data about particularly vulnerable or marginalized groups of people. We think it's about time we agreed a set of practical principles that our volunteers sign up to when working on a DataKind project.

If you are part of the DataKind UK community and would like to help us work out what these principles should be then join us on Oct 23rd for a night of beers, brainstorming and data ethics. This aim of the meeting is to create a draft hippocratic oath that we can go on to test and refine.
