About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour 15 minutes
Whether you’re feeling a little lost, a little stuck, or simply ready to greet yourself with more kindness, this course offers a spacious, grounded way to learn and practise the skills of self-compassion.
Self-compassion helps us create the changes we seek - and it helps us manage the changes that are happening around us.
For so many of us, self-compassion, self-care and self-love can feel unreasonable, unnecessary or even impossible to develop. And yet the science and our lived experience shows us they are vital to a more grounded, responsive and emotionally resilient way of living.
Neuroscientist Dr. Mary Helen Immordino-Yang says: “It is literally neurobiologically impossible to think deeply about things you don’t care about.”
And self-compassion expert Dr. Kristin Neff tells us that higher levels of self-compassion are linked to increased feelings of happiness, optimism, curiosity and connectedness - and decreased anxiety, depression, rumination and fear of failure.
So why can it feel so hard?
Like any muscle, self-compassion can diminish when it’s not used. And, like a muscle, it grows stronger through practice.
This is the focus of our time together. Not abstract theory or impossible standards, but honest exploration, warm encouragement, and practical support to help you reconnect with your own capacity for compassion.
All it requires is your own kind attention. And a belief that change is possible.
Because the results are worth it.
I believe self-compassion is the foundation to all real and lasting change.
In times of disruption, uncertainty or transition, self-compassion becomes an anchor point, supporting how we care for ourselves - and each other.
This short 4-week course is here to help you explore what self-compassion really feels like - and how it can help you in navigating your own life path.
What you’ll receive from the course:
- Practical tools and techniques plus guidance to support you between sessions
- A clear sense of how to navigate what gets in the way of feeling self-compassionate
- Feeling calmer, clearer and more confident about making and managing change
Who This Is For
✨ If you’re navigating change - whether because of health challenges, life stage, work, family, friendship or the world around you - and want to meet it with greater calm and clarity
✨ If self-compassion feels like a lovely idea - but one you’ve never quite known how to practise
✨ If you often find yourself being harder on yourself than you’d ever be to someone else
✨ If you long for a space to pause, reflect and reconnect with what truly supports you
✨ If you want to explore the depth of coaching in a small group setting - in a way that feels accessible and nourishing
What You Can Expect
✔ Four spacious, supportive weekly sessions (held on Zoom) designed to help you listen deeply to yourself and uncover your inner wisdom
✔ The opportunity to ask questions, share insights and receive live coaching guidance from me in a way that isn’t usually accessible outside of one-to-one coaching
✔ A safe and relaxed environment to learn and explore - with absolutely no pressure to share, unless that feels useful for you
✔ A dedicated WhatsApp group for support between sessions - giving you space to reflect, share, and stay connected with the journey in whatever way feels right for you
✔ A structured yet flexible approach - offering a clear framework with plenty of space for your individual needs to emerge
This is not a rigid program. It’s an open, nurturing, and deeply personal experience designed to meet you exactly where you are. You will leave with a clearer sense of your dreams, practical steps to move forward and a deeper trust in your own inner knowing.
Course Schedule & Format
Together, in a small, supportive group, we’ll use a range of techniques and practices to explore themes such as:
- What self-compassion is (and how it really feels)
- What gets in the way - including inner narratives and inherited stories
- The science behind self-compassion and its link to emotional wellbeing
- How it helps us care for others as well as ourselves
- 'First-aid' practices to use in the moment, and longer-term approaches
- Rewriting old self-agreements and creating new, kinder ways forward
Unlike a self-paced course, this is a real-time experience - a rare chance to engage in reflective discussion and journaling face-to-face with me and a small group, where you’ll receive personal support, guidance and connection along the way.
Date & Time: Fridays, 12.00 - 1.15pm GMT
4 weeks: beginning 23 May
Location: Live on Zoom
WhatsApp Group: Ongoing support & reflections between sessions

There’s no pressure to stay beyond the main session, but this time is available if you need it.
When you join I will send you invitations, with Zoom links, for each of the four sessions.

There are two pricing options:
Standard Rate – £175 (for those who need a little more financial flexibility)
Supporter Rate – £225 (for those who can comfortably pay more and would like to support others in accessing this course)
Both options provide the same experience, and you are welcome to choose the price that best reflects your personal circumstances. If the Standard Rate is still a barrier, please reach out - I don’t want cost to be the reason someone misses out.

And, of course, you can always connect directly with me through our dedicated WhatsApp group.
