About this event
- Event lasts 6 hours
Stop the feast and famine cycle. Create Freedom. Grow your business.
“You can get what you want if you plan and commit to it” -Ceylan Boyce (founder AWE)
Join an award-winning SME strategist & coach to plan your second quarter, tackle your toughest challenges, identify your key goals and discover the top strategies to reach them.
“This was exactly what I needed in my business right now.”
Your business has ups and downs. It often falls into the feast and famine cycle.
One minute, you have more work than you can handle; the next, you’re frantically looking for your next client.
When you get caught in this loop it can feel unstable. Everything seems wobbly and unsure. You often feel stuck in a never ending cycle.
So what do you do? You focus on the clients, the sales, the work, going at a hundred miles an hour to get sh*t done.
And the cycle starts again.
So how do you stop it? How do you end the feast and famine?
How do you make sure you have a stable, growing business that will keep going even when you are spending time with your kids, on holiday or just enjoying life?
Ok, breathe…
You need to take a step back. You need to take the necessary breathing space to plan.
YOU have the power to take control this quarter.
Ready for that stable business growth? Let’s go.
All it takes is the right formula…
Only 6% of women business owners hit their yearly goals. This is how you become one of them:
Success = (Clarity+Focus) x Momentum
Let’s break that down.
You need CLEAR, goals. You need FOCUSED actions. You need the MOMENTUM to keep on track.
Regular strategic planning is the only way to put this formula into action. Plan every 12 weeks, act on the plan, and grow the tide of momentum.
Storytime…
“The workshop for Academy for Women Entrepreneurs is PHENOMENAL.”
This is a bit of a humble brag. But we had to share.
Harriet was a freelance copywriter working morning, noon and night, trying to get every job she could. She put pen to paper whenever she good and was doing quite well at winning clients.
But there was a problem. She was so in the work that she struggled to see the bigger picture, and her work was stagnating. Where could she go next?
After attending one of our planning sessions, she left the above review. Yep, she literally called the workshop “PHENOMENAL”.
Now she’s doubled her income, and her business continues to grow. She’s even started to build a team.
The point is from one planning session, big things can happen.
So go on. Take that leap and reap the benefits.
So, what does the planning session look like?
Every business is unique, and every ambitious woman behind it has goals, ideas and dreams that need to be realised.
Whether that is to be the next greatest coach or simply to have more time with the family. Your goals lead directly to your business and, therefore, your actions and strategies.
We’re here to help you achieve them.
Here’s how it works:
1.Pre-planning
When you commit to growing your business, we commit to you. Pre-planning begins two weeks before the event.
Two weeks before event, you will receive an assessment form.
Completing this form will enable us to tailor your planning session to your specific needs and make it entirely relevant to you and your business."
2.Planning
Now we know where you are and what you want to achieve, it’s time for the big day.
- You will be seated with a group of amazing women entrepreneurs. We match our attendees so you will be amongst women at a similar business stage to you.You have the chance to connect, collaborate and exchange ideas with each other.
- We kick off by sharing your personal goal for the workshop with the group.
- We review your Q2 achievements and take a look at your current business situation.
- We define your Q3 goals based on your yearly goal.
- With personalised guidance from our award-winning strategist, we map out a strategic plan to get you achieving these goals.
- Finally we set a focused plan of action and build a to-do list for the next 12 weeks.
PLUS…
- You get to be supported by an award-winning SME strategist & coach throughout the whole session.
- You get to network with some of London’s leading female entrepreneurs.
- And you get to connect and create business opportunities with a glass of wine.....All before 3:00pm.
3.Post-planning
You’ve made it. You’re on track with your to-do list in hand. Now it’s all about momentum.
- After the session you will be able to connect and network with the amazing women you met (we’ve had some transformational partnerships come out of these sessions in the past).
- Join a personal post-workshop assessment call with the AWE team to check how you are getting on with your action plan.
What you will get out of the planning:
- A personalised workbook that you can revisit to help you reconnect with your goals and take the right actions.
- Your full 12 weeks strategy and action plan mapped out on one page (we suggest putting this somewhere visible!)
- A focused to-do list for your next few weeks.
- Kick-ass connections with fellow entrepreneurs and valuable business opportunities.

SAM LINDSAY
My Mortgage Angel
I founded My Mortgage Angel in 2016, based in Essex and London, following a burning desire to do things differently in the world of mortgages. I wanted to put clients as the centre of priority rather than the earlier experience I’d had with my own mortgage application, which was very much business process driven.
Buying a house, or re-mortgaging a current property, are significant financial decisions for most of us. My passion lies in helping people make the right choices for them, by offering clear, whole-of-market mortgage advice that demystifies the process. I also help my clients choose the right level of protection, including life insurance, income protection, and cover for serious or critical illness.
My professional contacts and qualifications allow access to a range of rates, and my approach is always about getting to know each individual client. Only when I’ve properly understood your needs and goals, can I present you with the most relevant, fully researched options to choose from.
I hold myself to extremely high standards, with an enduring aim to offer the best possible service. I’m particularly proud of the fact that the vast majority of clients who approach My Mortgage Angel for advice, do so because they were personally referred by someone they trust.
What else? I enjoy challenging the popular stereotype that mortgage advice is dull and confusing, just as much as I love subverting expectations about what an expert mortgage broker ‘should’ look like. I rarely wear a suit to work, and you’ll usually find me wearing a pair of the above-mentioned quirky shoes!
If you’re looking for expert mortgage and protection advice, My Mortgage Angel is on hand to guide you.
