Frequently asked questions

How long is the event

The event lasts for three days starting on the day you booked your ticket for and ending at 4pm on the third day

How old does my child need to be?

The course is designed for children in KS3 but suits children aged between 10 and 14 years of age, including those with special educational needs where these are not considered more complex.

I want my child to attend but has an older / younger sibling. Can they attend to?

Yes, as long as you have booked a ticket you children outside of the recommended age can attend if you believe they are suitable for the event.

Am I able to stay with my child during the event?

We would never ask a worried parent to leave if you believe it is necessary to stay. When this is needed you may be encouraged to join in the activities, although you are not expected to do so. Bear in mind the course is designed to build confidence and resilience in your child.

Will my child be fed during the event

No, we ask that attendees bring a packed lunch and drinks as required. There are regular breaks for eating drinking and toileting during the event. We do supply bottled water.
