Join us for a guided walk alongside the footprints of dinosaurs. Discover the geological history of Scarborough's South Bay and explore the dinosaur dancefloor!

Please note, children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.


Embrace your wild side - what to expect:

This event is suitable for families. The event will involve walking along the promenade but the include some stepping up onto the sea wall in order to get closer to the fossils.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy footwear and lots of layers. If it's a hot day, remember a hat and sun cream.

Toilets and catering

Please be aware that Yorkshire Wildlife Trust do not have facilities in Scarborough. However, there are a number of public toilets and catering facilities nearby.

Joining us on the day

Please meet at the bottom of the stairs in front of The Clock Cafe, Scarborough YO11 2HD.

Parking

There is a council-owned car park at Sea Cliff Road - parking is free for 3 hours.
