Visitors are invited to an absinthe tasting at Devil's Botany Distillery with co-founder and distiller, Rhys Everett. Discover how the botanical spirit is made, explore the elixir's notorious past and celebrate its unique connection to London!
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- Introduction to Devil’s Botany and what drove us to open the UK’s first absinthe distillery
- A look at absinthe's distillation & botanicals – Meet Pepper, our 150L copper pot still, and learn about the basic principles of absinthe & gin distillation. Get to know the botanicals that go into making quality absinthes. Explore the flavours and aromas of absinthe’s holy trinity plus the other botanicals that make Devil’s Botany absinthes stand out.
- Guided tasting of the Devil's Botany core range – Enjoy the award-winning Devil's Botany London Absinthe, Absinthe Regalis and London Dry Gin. Followed by the experimental series, consisting of a Chocolate Absinthe Liquor, Rose Absinthe Liqueur & a Bourbon Barrel Aged Absinthe.
Distillery Tour & Absinthe Tasting Experience will start at 2pm and run for 45 minutes. The second tour will start at 3pm and run for 45 mninutes. The final tour will be at 4pm and run for 45 minutes. The tour will run on time and cannot be delayed. Any latecomers will be welcome onto the next tour if there is space available.
