Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the launch of Do You Believe in Life After Loss, the powerful new work by acclaimed author Andrew Flewitt. Exploring themes of grief, resilience, and hope, this deeply moving book invites us to reflect on what it truly means to live after loss.
Andrew will be in conversation with the brilliant Nathaniel J Hall (It’s A Sin, writer, performer, and HIV activist), for an insightful and heartfelt discussion about the inspiration behind the book, the stories within it, and the personal journeys that shaped its creation.
This collection of queer experiences of loss, hope and resilience explores different aspects of loss, the challenges of these situations, but also how queerness might help people to navigate change and loss and the opportunities and hope that can arise when healing begins.
Exploring experiences of loss in all its forms - from bereavement and relationship breakups to loss of community, safety and identity - the book considers how queerness might help people to navigate change and loss and asks the question: do you believe in life after loss?
Curated by Andrew Flewitt and with contributions from psychotherapist Silva Neves throughout, the book features interviews with:
Nathaniel J. Hall - Zachary Tucker - Euan - Jamie Windust - Juno Roche - Vaneet Mehta - Luciana Cousin - Mendez - Theo Parsonson
