About this event

Cambridge City Council is hosting its 9th annual domestic abuse conference, bringing together speakers from across the Violence Against Women And Girls (VAWG) sector, education, tech and sport to share ideas, knowledge, and initiatives that address domestic abuse.

Sign up to our free in-person conference to take part before midday Wednesday 27 November.

Doors open at 9.30am.

The conference will be opened at 10am by Robert Pollock, Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council.

This conference marks 25 November - White Ribbon Day and the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which starts 16 Days of Action to 10 December - Human Rights Day

This event is supported by Cambridge City Council with a free networking lunch.

What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?

The centre is a short walk from the guided busway at Orchard Park and is 10 minutes from the city centre on the Stagecoach Bus 1 route. Traveline has public-transport timetables. There are 13 cycle racks. Car parking is very limited with 5 disabled spaces and nearby such as St Albans Road.
