Drypoint Etching Printing Workshop with Stuart Evans

This introduction to making prints with the drypoint technique is for those who want to learn a simple and effective way of producing a black and white, or coloured, print. All materials will be supplied but it advisable to bring sketches or ideas for what you want to draw onto your plate.

About the tutor: Stuart Evans main interest is in hand coloured lino-printing but also producing etchings and occasionally lithographs. He is keen to promote all types of printmaking. Stuart completed an MA in Fine Art printmaking at Aberystwyth University, School of Art in 2012 . He is a founder member of the Aberystwyth Printmakers and has served as a director. Stuart has also been a technician /designer/ curator at Ceredigion Museum Aberystwyth since 1976
