Ealing Park Ride

Ride through Ealing's Green Belt

Date & Time: Saturday, 24th May 2025, starting at 11am

Starting Points:

  • Churchfields Recreation Ground
  • Pitshanger Park

Participants: Families, adults, children (aged from 6) - all are welcome.

Route:

  • Choose either starting point and ride to the other park.
  • At the other park, you will have an hour to explore, have a picnic, or just relax, and then ride back to your starting park.
  • You can also join the rides in Perivale Park by the playground at the Cowgate Road entrance as they pass by between 11.30am and 11.45am. Ride to Churchfields Recreation Ground or Pitshanger Park, and back.

Distance: Total 7 miles (each leg is 3.5 miles with 1 hour to rest), mostly on paths and cycle routes, taking in some of the borough's most verdant areas including Brent Valley Park, Pear Tree Park, Perivale Park, and the picturesque St Mary's church in Perivale. There's only one short, steepish hill to challenge fitness or braking skills. Feel free to walk up or down it.

Safety: Each ride will be escorted by accredited instructors and volunteers. Please ensure you have water and a bike that is in good working order, particularly with functioning brakes.

Please note: Every effort has been made to ensure the ride is as safe as possible. However, participants engage in the activity at their own risk. The organisers shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred.

Booking: Please book a free ticket for the ride you would like to join. So we know numbers, please book a ticket for each person in your group.
