Welcome to Ecstatic Dance Wimborne! Get ready to dance your heart's joy and connect with others in a fun and uplifting environment.

Join us at Ecstatic Dance Wimborne at The Barn Theatre, Gaunts House in Dorset for a night of free flowing dance and gathering around the fire to offer intentions of growth and prosperity in the warmer months ahead, from 18:30-22:00 at Gaunts House in Wimborne.

You are invited to share your creative gifts with our community - so bring your paintings, artwork, sculptures, poetry and songs. If you would like you can sing your original song around our fire or if you'd like your original song played during our dance, please get in touch with Judez at info@sunfiredance.com.

Let the ecclectic mix of music guide you as you express yourself through dance and let go of any inhibitions. You are very welcome to bring your musical instruments and socialise around the fire after our dance.

This is a sober event. Arrive sober and remain so throughout the event.

We dance barefoot.

We refrain from conversations on the dance floor.

Be respectful of yourself and others.

Move spontaneously to a ecclectic mix of music.

Your ticket purchase contributes to the hire of the venue, firewood, insurance, equipment and running costs; and is very much appreciated so that we can continue to offer our events in so many beautiful locations in Dorset.

CREWING

If you would like to crew at this event and assist setting up and clearing afterwards, in exchange for a ticket, please contact Judez on info@sunfiredance.com. You assistance would be appreciated.

What to bring:

- Water bottle,

- Comfortable clothes that you can move in - some like floaty garments, other's like wearing yoga style clothing.

- Layers are a good idea for this time of year as it is still quite chilly.

- Warm coat for outside.

- Mat or towel to it on (there are benches outside, though you may wish to sit on the ground around the fire if you wish).
- Musical instruments (optional)

PARKING: Please park opposite the Stable Block, which you will find past the Barn Theatre and Main House. Please refrain from parking in front of the main house. You may wish to bring a torch to walk to the Barn Theatre.

ABOUT JUDEZ SUNFIRE Judez has a background in drama, dance, voice, and breathwork modalities. Conscious dance has been a vital part of her life. Her vision is to create safe spaces where individuals can express themselves freely, without restrictions, and can utilise conscious movement to release, receive, embrace and heal, as well as revel in the joy of the dance. She is a conscious and ecstatic dance facilitator and is also a novice DJ.

SunFire Dance offer Ecstatic and Conscious Dance events in Dorset. Judez was inspired to start her Ho'oponopono Movement Meditation, Beach, and Celtic Calendar Conscious Dances, and this has grown to include Ecstatic Dance in Wimborne. at Gaunts House There is something magical about coming together in community, whether it be dancing on the beach under the illuminous full moon or in the crisp morning air watching the sunrise, gathering around a fire in community and sharing a conscious dance. It is always a special event.
