Join our summer safety event at Essex County Fire and Recsue Service Headquarters, Kelvedon.

Calling all young people not currently in mainstream education. Come and join us for a fun, interactive day focused on summer safety. Our friendly education team will guide you through engaging activities to help you stay safe online. This sessions is suitable for all ages.

Event details:

  • Date & time: Arrival from 10:30am for registration, ready for an 11:00am start.
  • Location: Essex County Fire and Recsue Service Headquarters, Kelvedon, CM8 3HB.
  • What to bring: Your own lunch, snacks, and refreshments.
  • Note: Due to the size of our station, only one adult can accompany each child due to space limitations. No siblings please.

Parents are requested to stay throughout the event. Please inform us of any medical or SEN needs for necessary adaptations. We may have Essex Therapy dogs in attendance, so let us know if there are any phobias.

Why is there an age restriction for ECFRS events?

All of the content we deliver has been approved by an Educational Psychologist to ensure that it is appropriate for the audience we are working with.

What should I bring?

Please bring all snacks, lunch and drinks with you. We will have short breaks throughout the day where we can enjoy our food and refreshments.

Innovative, new events for young people not currently in education, delivered in the local community at various locations in Essex. Working in collaboration with Essex Police, Essex County fire and Rescue Service's friendly Education Officers deliver a specialy adapted joint Fire and Police education programme specifically for young people unable to access this information, resource and support in school.
