Elidir Fawr is the 13th highest mountain in Wales and the northernmost peak in the Glyderau range. It stands at 924 m (3,031ft) making it one of the 15 Welsh mountains above 3000ft.
The route is around 10km, with 692 metres (2270ft) of ascent. It will require a fair amount of hard work and a good set of well worn in boots! We have planned to take it steady , enjoy the fresh air and company, and aim to complete in around 5 hours.
We will have plenty of time to complete the route without having to rush giving us plenty of time to take in the views and chat to one another along the way.
You do not need any prior experience of mountain walking, however, you will need to be medically fit and have the correct kit to attempt the challenge.
