Hello, I'm Jo and I am a certified English teacher who loves to help people improve their English skills. I would like to invite you to my weekly English lessons which take place every Sunday at 11 am GMT.
In this lesson we will learn about modal auxiliary verbs and how they help express ability, permission, possibility, obligation, or future actions in English.
The lesson is tailored for upper-intermediate learners, but everyone is welcome to join if you are passionate about learning or improving your English.
My classes are interactive, friendly, and filled with opportunities to practice speaking and collaborate with others to solve engaging exercises.
To keep the sessions high-quality and personalised, please note places are limited—so be sure to reserve your place early.

Frequently asked questions
The classes are designed to be interactive and learner-centred. The students get plenty of talking time during the 1 hour session, with regular opportunities to practice their English in a friendly and supportive environment.
The classes are purposely kept small and with a limited number of learners. This is in order to give each student the opportunity to ask questions and be an active participant during the lesson.
I encourage my students to not be afraid to make mistakes; it is part of their learning journey and each mistake is an opportunity for learning and improvement.
A teacher also never stops learning and improving. These free classes allow me to continually develop and improve my teaching in a friendly and supportive environment. Students can "pay" me by giving me valuable feedback and helping me become the best teacher I can be.
I tailor my content to help pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate students improve their English. Ideally, learners' English ranges between A2-B2 levels but ultimately, anyone who is keen to build on their existing English skills is welcome to join my class.
I use Google Meet which works in the same way as a Zoom link. Learners will get an email the day before the class containing the Google Meet link. Attendees then click on the link and wait to be allowed into the meeting. You do not have to have a Gmail account to be able to join the class.
