About this event

Welcome to our Enhanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship webinars! Join us online for a one of our webinars and find out more about this new apprenticeship.

HSU are rolling out our first Enhanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship for AHPs from our London Campus this spring. This first intake is being rolled out for physiotherapists and osteopaths. This is the first ECP apprenticeship for AHPs being offered in London, supporting the Long Term Workforce Plan and aligned to the AHP Schema developed by NHS England.

From September we will be delivering this new apprenticeship from our Bournemouth campus across all 4 professions (Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Occupational Therapy and Dietetics). The course runs over a year - followed by gateway and end point assessment. It will be delivered through blended learning with the face to face days being delivered from our campuses. The course can be funded through the levy (£7000) and the end award is a PGCert. We believe that this apprenticeship is a great recruitment and retention tool and one of few post-reg apprenticeships that is developed for and aimed at AHPs. We have built the curriculum with 5 pathways which are acute/urgent/emergency care; mental health; primary/community/social care; frailty/ageing; and children and your people's services.
