About this event

Gift yourself time and space to move, breathe, walk, and re-connect.

This yoga retreat day is to honour the Spring Equinox and celebrate the sowing of seeds (physically, emotionally and spiritually)...

It will invite you to slow down, return home to yourself, and re-sensitise to the wisdom and intelligence of nature that also resides naturally within your own glorious body. We will explore themes around unfolding, re-birth and growth.

Expect a mix of flow and yin yoga, embodied intuitive movement, mindful walk, sacred earthy scents, entrancing music, crystal healing, delicious plant-based lunch, nature poetry, and a vision boarding workshop where you will intuitively create/manifest through a lovely dreaming-awake type state (all materials provided)...

Price: £90 per day, including lunch

“And I said to my body softly, ‘I want to be your friend.’

It took a long breath and replied,

'I have been waiting my whole life for this.'"

- Nayyirah Waheed

Yoga with Sherinshe

I have been practising yoga since 2002 and teaching yoga since 2012. I have spent over two decades deepening and integrating my own spiritual practice, and exploring what it means to be alive in this body. I have completed various trainings and courses, such as yoga teacher training with Sun Power Yoga in London, yin yoga teacher training with Louise Windsor and Tobie at Ashiyana in India, Rebecca Campbell’s year-long Work Your Light course, and Embercombe’s 18-month-long apprentice in Contemporary Animism.

I do not really consider myself to be a ‘yoga teacher’ though.

Yoga lineages feel too uncomfortably associated with male gurus and the patriarchy and strict rules and pushing your body into an asana that must look a certain way. I prefer words like embodied, intuitive, flow, somatic, tantric and authentic movement.

And I’m no one’s ’teacher’ as such. I am just a woman facilitating space for people to remember the wisdom, freedom, wildness and power that resides within their very own bodies. I don’t believe there is a ‘right way’ of moving. If you have integrity within your own body, it is impossible to do anything wrong. I simply guide people to turn every cell of their body into an ear and listen…

My residential women’s retreats are the deepest and most potent spaces that I offer. I have hosted 20 residential retreats so far and they keep on getting juicer... 🌹🌚🧙🏻‍♀️🧜‍♀️🩸
