I’ve never learnt about nutritional psychiatry before, is this course for me?

You do not need a background in nutritional psychiatry to attend this course; however, a postgraduate-level knowledge in a health-related degree is desirable. This short course is designed for healthcare clinicians who want to learn more about nutritional psychiatry.

What cookery skills do I need?

None! We will be there to guide you through from start to finish.

Question 3

What should I wear to the course?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable clothes with a t-shirt underneath as the kitchen can be warm and also, please wear closed toe footwear.

Question 4

What is provided on the day?

Accepted Answer

You will be provided with printed booklets and resources, lunch prepared by the culinary professionals at Westminster Kingsway, tea, coffee, refreshments and snacks throughout the day. An apron will be provided for the practical workshops.

Question 5

When will my joining instructions and learning materials be sent to me?

Accepted Answer

Any materials will be sent by the Food and Mood Academy and Culinary Medicine team a week before the event. Please check the email you used to register for this event and your junkmail.

Question 6

I can’t attend the 1-day Event in London, can I join a live streaming event instead?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, the  event will only be available in person, which is the best way to learn for this type of interactive course.

Question 7

Will the 1-day event for health professional be filmed?

Accepted Answer

This activity is designed to be attended in person. No recorded material will be made available after the event.  You are welcome to take notes and there will be materials to support your learning distributed to attendees.

Will there be photography and videography?

Accepted Answer

We will be taking photographs and videos on the day. Please notify our team on the day if you wish to be excluded from any photos which may be used for promotion of our events. If you take any photos and wish to tag us on social media, we would love to see them! #culinarymedicineuk #foodandmood
