About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

Europe is facing an unprecedented convergence of shocks – from war on its borders, to rising trade barriers, increasing climate impacts, and inflationary spikes in key goods.

In this new era of turbulence, the EU’s fiscal and monetary frameworks are showing their limits. Can today’s economic rules deliver the prosperity, security, and sustainability that Europe urgently needs? Is it possible to promote industrial competitivity, increase living standards, and drive forward the clean transition, all while mitigating inflation and maintaining fiscal sustainability?

Join us for an afternoon of discussion and debate with leading experts as they offer their analysis and arguments for how the EU’s macroeconomic framework must evolve to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
