We run our poetry nights every first Monday of the month

If you require a guaranteed seat, DM us at @everythingpoetrynight on Instagram or via Eventbrite  with 24 hours' notice. You can bring your own food to the venue. There is one small step to get in, and the pub has a portable ramp. There are no disabled loos.

There are two loos, both which are made gender neutral. One has a cubicle, and the other has a cubicle and a urinal. Tickets are £5, but if this cost is prohibitive to you, please send us a message either via Eventbrite or Instagram and we will provide a free ticket, no questions asked.

What is the structure of the night?

Doors open at 6pm, the event starts at 7pm. There are 10-12 open mic performers, followed by the headliner. Then there is 15-20 minute break, followed by more open mic poets, until the event finishes at 10pm. All open micers are pulled at random from a hat.

What are the rules?

No hate speech, no punching down, don't remove any equipment from the space, stick to 5 min maximum on the mic, please don't speak during performances
