Expert biography
About Emma

Emma is a Senior Legal Advisor in the Commercial, Technology and Data team at EMW Law. Emma specialises in advising providing commercially focussed legal advice on a wide range of commercial issues. Prior to joining EMW, Emma worked as Chief Commercial Officer for a £100M+ global broadband solutions manufacturer, performing the group’s in-house legal function, leading the HR and European customer services teams and was responsible for ensuring the business focused on opportunities with the highest returns. Key elements of Emma’s role were negotiating high value agreements with major cable operators across Europe, North America and Australia and supporting the business through times of change, including acquiring and setting up new companies and restructuring business models to meet changing commercial or legal requirements.

All our expert one-to-one meetings on offer are free, but places are limited as our business expert partners are giving their valuable time to the BIPC and to you for free while fitting these sessions into their busy schedule. Therefore, if you need to cancel the session, to give a chance for others to still book it, please give at least two working days’ notice when possible via:

What is your cancellation policy?

The majority of our events are free, but places are often limited - especially for in-person events, therefore please make sure you cancel your place, if you are unable to attend. You can cancel through your Eventbrite booking or emailing enquiriesteam@westsussex.gov.uk.

Can I attend if I'm not a member of the library?

Absolutely! Any Sussex based business/ person with a business idea is welcome. Though we always recommend joining the library as it's free and will make accessing our databases, books and publications much easier.
