This summer, we're inviting families to join us for a fabulous day trip to the beautiful seaside resort, Barry Island.

As usual, we have a range of fun activities in store for you and your family on the day, including rock pooling, building sandcastles, beach games and a dip in the sea.

The perfect opportunity to enjoy a great family day out at the beach whilst catching up with other families and friends too.

We'll be providing packed lunches for the whole family to enjoy on the day too.

This event is for local children and families living with a hearing loss only.

Travel Information (coach trip)

The coach will depart from Elmfield School at 9.30am. The return coach will leave Barry Island at 2pm.

Booking Information

Because this free event is funded by a grant from Bristol's Holiday Activities and Food Programme, you will need to provide the following information to book a child or young person (anyone aged 17 years or under) on this event:

· First name and last name of the child/young person attending (if in education, as it appears on their school or college register)

· The date of birth of the child/young person attending

· The full postcode of the child/young person attending

Please note: you will need to book one ticket at a time for each child/young person attending this event. If you want to book two or three children for the coach trip, you will need to book one ticket for each child attending.

A maximum of two adult tickets can be booked at a time.

Can I book two or three children at the same time?

No. You will need to book one ticket at a time for each child that you'd like to attend. This is because the grant funder of this event requires specific information for each child attending the event. You can, however, book two adult tickets at a time.

Is parking free at the coach departure point?

There is limited free parking at the school. Families with accessibility needs will be given priority for these parking spaces. If your family does not have accessibility needs, please park in nearby residential streets which do not have resident permit or meter restrictions.
