About this event

Positively ADHD is about learning to embrace your ADHD strengths and re-connect to your curiosity, wonder and joy, so that you can live the extraordinary life you were born for. Deep down you already know you deserve so much more.

Come and meet Kaye Heyes, an experienced ADHD coach, who knows first-hand about recovery from burnout and finding out about her own neurodivergence later in life (aged 53!).

ADHD & Rethinking Time: An alternative to traditional time management

Traditional time-management methods - focused solely on clocks, calendars, and deadlines (Chronos) - often leave ADHD minds feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or inadequate. But what if "time blindness" isn't about personal failing, but about trying to thrive within a limited definition of time?

In this insightful and engaging session, we'll explore three ancient Greek understandings of time:

  • Chronos (Clock Time): Practical and structured, necessary but draining if overused.
  • Kairos (Opportune Time): Time of intuition, flow, creativity, and effortless alignment.
  • Aeon (Timelessness & Deep Meaning): Soulful time for reflection, inspiration, and connection.

You'll discover how integrating these different dimensions of time can help you thrive, harness your natural rhythms, and find deeper satisfaction in your daily life.

Join us to move beyond rigid structures, reclaim your energy, and create an ADHD-friendly approach to time management that truly honours who you are.

Kaye set up Positively ADHD because she knows that people with ADHD have so many gifts and incredible ways of thinking which can make a huge contribution to the world. Yet, so much of this nuance is lost in the deficit-based, medical model which sees ADHD as a list of “symptoms” that need to be “treated”.

Whilst we don’t underestimate the difficulties that ADHD can cause, we also know that when we feel creative, hopeful, and connected to our purpose, anything is possible for us and our amazing minds.

Many of us who were late-diagnosed have spent our whole lives in survival mode, because we did not know that our brains were different. We may have spent many years believing we were broken and have struggled with periods of depression, anxiety and burnout.

Kaye hosts regular meet-ups and events as well as offering group and 1:1 ADHD coaching. You can read reviews of Kaye's workshops on Google or find out more at Kaye's Positively ADHD website.
