About this event

  • Event lasts 8 days

Scattered in local libraries, town halls, community and cultural hubs, and all over our social media, take part in the festival even if you can't make it on the day!

We're sharing creative prompts, written by artist Craig Atherton and inspired by everyday moments, inviting everyone to take part in the festival and embrace their Everyday Creativity. Find a prompt postcard and submit your creation via email (hello@everydaywigan.org.uk) or mention us (#EverydayFest @EverydayWigan) to be featured on our social media over the next few weeks!

About Craig Atherton

Craig is a freelance artist and designer from the North West with a background in screenprinting and a sharp eye for bold, energetic visuals. He started out designing album covers and gig posters in London’s music scene, and now works across public art, gallery shows, and private commissions. Craig’s clients include interior designers, developers, and collectors, but he’s just as passionate about his community projects — using art to connect with real people and make a lasting difference. His work is all about energy, connection, and bringing creativity into everyday spaces.
