About this event

  • Event lasts 9 hours 30 minutes

It's time to book your place for the Flitwick Eagles 2025 Girls Tournament, a fantastic way to wind down the season; for age groups from U10 through to U15. It's a one day event split into separate AM and PM sessions, hosted at the home of Flitwick Eagles on Ampthill Road in Flitwick.

All teams will play a minimum of 1 hour of matches, with trophies and medals awared for the winners and runners up in each competition.

The U12 & U13 competitions (9 v 9)will be separated into Cup and Plate competitions. The Cup Competitions will be 9 v 9 on the AGP and the Plate Competitions will be 9 v 9 on Grass; both formed of groups of 6 teams, playing in a 'round robin' format to decide a winner and runner up.

NOTE : The Cup is for teams that compete in higher divisions or leagues, or in acadamies or development centres; with the Plate for teams that compete in lower divisons (you will be asked to state the league and division you play in when purchasing your ticket).

Please take note that teams entering the U12 & U13 Cup Competitions, will be playing all matches on the Artificial Grass Pitch and there will be a strict ‘Acceptable Footwear Policy ‘ in place. Please ensure the players and coaching staff are fully aware of this.

Please have your Club Affiliation info, Club Secretary, Team Contact, League and Division details available when booking your tickets.

A range of food, drink and other refreshments are all available at the event, we have something for everyone, with outside seating for the Bar and Café.

Marshalled FREE car parking is provided for all attendees. Parking is available on a first come first served basis at the Football Centre for those attending the AM tournament, with further nearby free parking only a few minutes walk away. Staff, Tournament Organisers, Referees and First Aiders will all be on site early, so IF the 'Car Park FULL' sign is displayed, please follow the signs to the FREE parking at Doolittle Yard and Redborne Upper School and directed by the Flitwick Eagles Parking Marshalls on the day.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a Blue Badge holder there are dedicated parking spaces at the Football Centre for you. Please drive to the Football Centre and you will be guided to spaces.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE : Dogs are not permitted except for assistance dogs (and you will be refused entry if you attend with a dog) as per FA Guidelines.

There is a £3 admission fee per adult supporter (not children or players). If you don’t have cash, card payments are also accepted, however this will delay entry, therefore cash is preferred (and exact change if at all possible!).

We look forward to seeing you in May. Thanks for entering.

Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) - Acceptable Footwear Policy for 9-A-Side Cup Competitions

For all teams competing in the 9-A-Side Cup Competitions on the Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP), there is a strict Acceptable Footwear Policy defined by the Flitwick Football Centre, that you need to comply with. See details here : https://www.flitwickeagles.org/footwear-policy-3g-artificial-grass

Please ensure that your players and coaching staff are fully aware of the policy and bring the correct footwear.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Football boots with moulded studs or plastic screw-in studs are the only footwear permitted on the Artificial Grass Pitch.

There can be no exceptions to this and any players or team coaches deemed to be in breach of the policy (i.e. not wearing the required footwear) will not be allowed onto the AGP. Please take note !

Although this may seem a bit harsh, it is absolutely necessary in order for the Flitwick Football Centre to maintain their warranty with 'Tiger Turf' on the new pitch; to pass the FIFA accreditation (so that matches can be played on the AGP) and to avoid sizeable maintenance and repair bills.

Yes – Permitted : Football boots with moulded studs, screw-in plastic, nylon or rubber studs less than 15mm long are the ONLY footwear permitted on the Artificial Grass Pitch.

NO – Cannot Be Worn : Boots with blades, metal studs, metal tipped studs, astroturf trainers / boots, shoes and trainers with flat soles CANNOT BE WORN and are NOT permitted on the Artificial Grass Pitch under any circumstances (see examples below).
