We are undertaking an exciting project to develop a new 5-year Education Strategy for the Faculty of Medicine and Health through co-creation with our staff and key partners. It’s vital that the strategy speaks to all Schools and Institutes within the Faculty.
The strategy will:
- Acknowledge and respond to the changing landscapes and drivers around medicine, health and social care (locally, externally and globally).
- Present a clear and compelling vision that represents faculty priorities effectively both internally and externally.
- Articulate the Faculty’s unique strengths and priorities to build upon the Learn Together, Work Together ethos
- Ensure our programmes are inclusive to all and support the development of the future health and social care workforce.
Between January and March 2025, over 80 staff from across education and professional services participated in strategy visioning workshops to share their ideas about how we can continue to innovate our curricula and programmes, enable student access and support, and develop our staff.
As staff who deliver and support education to our students within the faculty, we want to invite you to participate in a further workshop so we can:
- Share and discuss with you the emerging priorities for the new strategy
- Get your views on how we best embed the strategy to achieve maximum impact
