Free CPD session aimed at local GP's, Physiotherapists and Podiatrists.
There will be 2 presentations covering:
- Diagnosis and treatment of common conditions of the forefoot (Alastair Dall)
- Diagnostic ultrasound and image guided injections of the Foot & Ankle (Allan Thomson)
This will be followed by a diagnostic ultrasound demonstration and a discussion/Q&A session.
There will be tea/coffee and a buffet provided. Places are limited to 20.
About the presenters:
Alastair Dall
Alastair is a Sports/MSK Podiatrist at Footcare Scotland Ltd. He has completed a PGDip in The Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Queen Margaret University. In 2017 he was admitted as a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Allan Thomson
Allan is a highly experienced Podiatrist, has previous lectured in Podiatry at GCU and has published in various peer reviewd journals. He has post-grad certificates in independent prescribing, cortico-steroid injection therapy and a PGCert in Medical ultrasound and an MSc in Theory of Podiatric Surgery. In 2013 he was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of Podiatric medicine at RCPSG.
