The Council understands the devastating effects that youth violence can have on individuals and families. To support our community in healing, we are offering free access to therapy for anyone affected by the trauma of youth violence.
Youth violence has an effect on the individual and the community, these therapy sessions are conducted by a qualified therapist that has a number years of experience working within youth violence , adults and mental health. The sessions our focused on the psychological impact of youth violence.The sessions are focused on giving individuals a voice to share their concerns and thoughts in a contained and confidential space.
Our mission is to enhance the mental health and well-being of our community by providing compassionate, accessible, and evidence-based therapy services. This will be facilitated by a qualified therapist. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals, Youth, and Parents can navigate challenges, foster resilience, and achieve personal growth.We are dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and building a healthier, more connected community."

Drop in sessions
Drop-in therapy sessions are for a broad range of individuals who need immediate or short-term mental health support
No need to book in advance or commit to weekly sessions. We are available from 9:30 to 12 on a Saturday
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue

Half hour sessions (no need to book)
Walk ins for anyone struggling with their mental health
Group therapy
These group sessions will offer parents and individuals in the community that have been affected by youth violence a space to have a voice and reflect on their emotions. It offers a safe space where people may talk about their experiences, gain knowledge from one another, and create coping mechanisms.

Lyrics therapy
A space where individuals can express themselves through Rap, Spoken word and Poetry.
