Join us for an insightful webinar that marks the conclusion of the Inclusive Smart Solutions programme. Inclusive Smart Solutions is a £2.75 million programme funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero's £65 million Flexibility Innovation Programme.
This initiative aims to enhance electricity system flexibility through smart and secure technologies. The funding comes from the government's £1 billion Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP), which supports low-carbon technologies to reduce decarbonisation costs and help the UK combat climate change.
The ISS programme is being delivered and led by Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) with support from the Carbon Trust, Ipsos Mori and TPX Impact on behalf of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
As part of this programme, four projects were selected to help low-income and vulnerable consumers benefit from an emerging smart, flexible energy system in the UK. This event will spotlight these innovative solutions, which were enhanced through the valuable insights of people with lived experience.
What to expect:
- Policy insights: an introduction from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, highlighting the significance of this initiative.
- Solution showcases: the four companies will present their new solutions, refined and tested through the programme.
- Expert perspectives: hear firsthand from people with lived experience about their role in shaping these innovations.
Whether you are a policymaker, energy industry leader, researcher or someone passionate about co-design and innovation, this webinar offers a unique opportunity to explore how collaboration drives change.
