About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours
  • Ages 16+

Open to all, no previous experience required.

Gaga helps you discover and strengthen your body, improving flexibility, endurance, agility, coordination and movement skills. During the class, you will explore different nuances of movement, such as softness and power, and will be encouraged to find pleasure in physical effort.

Gaga classes focus on activating the body and physical sensations.

Gaga increases awareness of physical sensations, gradually adding layers of information throughout the lesson. Although the instructions can be full of evocative imagery, Gaga's approach is primarily based on the physical experience and connection with one's own body.

Gaga is a constantly evolving process and classes are always different and developing.

Developed by Ohad Naharin over many years, alongside his work as choreographer and artistic director of the Batsheva Dance Company; Gaga was born out of Naharin's need to communicate with his dancers and his curiosity about current movement research.

Céline's workshops provide the space to delve deeper into the language of movement, using specific tasks and exercises to develop themes covered in the Gaga class. Each one ending with a free dance party.

**Places are limited to ensure safe and happy dancing**
