Welcome to the Get Folkd'! Fest!

"Get Folk'd!" was set up in 2024 by musician Seamus Mckenna to help promote the grassroots music scene in Cornwall. By curating a series of shows around the county to provide an intimate platform for artists to perform their own songs, "Get Folk'd!" is about musicians, for musicians and for those who love live music and care about their local scene.

"Get Folk'd! Fest!" is the most ambitious of the Get Folk'd series thus far, with 10 different acts in one day from around Cornwall and further afield, it's going to be one to remember.

Taking place in one of the finest venues in Cornwall, and coincidentally the location of Seamus's first Cornish gig, The Barn and Ell's Bar is tucked away in the fields behind the nearby Wheal Busy mine. It's beautiful setting is the home of Julian and Ell who have curated one of the most intimate and special music venues in the county. With one indoor bar/stage in an ancient converted barn and an external stage with a large gazebo, its an idealic location to come and spend a sunny afternoon supporting your local music scene.

Food/Drink - A selection of drinks/ales/ciders/spirits will be availble at a very reasonable price and there will be some food provided (feel free to bring your own food too). So don't forget your Suncream, Sandwiches and cash for the merch stall!

Tickets - Tickets on the door will be cash only at a set price of £25.

Parking - Please park in the Wheal Busy mine Car park area (see photo below) it is then a short walk down to The Barn.
