Starting on Wednesday 24 January we will be holding two virtual gatherings that will bring together experts, enthusiasts, and curious minds to explore the art of burning and its transformative power. This year our Global Burns online event will celebrate the award of the Queens Anniversary Prize to the University of Glasgow in recognition of the range and impact of the projects undertaken at the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, chiefly 'Editing and Curating Robert Burns for the 21st Century'. Join our award-winning team of Burns experts as they share highlights from their research, past, present and future, covering everything from major Textual Editing projects to Burns's Song, the Burns Supper, Burns and the Economy, Forgery and Virtual Reality.
