Join us on 12 May 2025, as we bring together people and organisations from across Greater Manchester and beyond for a day of moving, learning, and leading.
Following the success of last year’s event which over 1,000 people attended, the GM Moving Conference 2025 will once again unite colleagues and leaders.
As we work collaboratively towards Active Lives for All across Greater Manchester, this event has become a key date in the diary to learn, share ideas and inspire each other.
Expect inspiring discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities as we work together to shape a healthier, more active future for our communities.
There are several workshops that we have designed based on what you have told us you would like to explore. If you would like to join a workshop, please make your selection in the order form when selecting your ticket. Be quick - these workshops are likely to fill up fast.
New this year: Voluntary contributions for tickets
This year, you have the option of contributing £90, £45 or £0 for your ticket. Please select the option that suits you best. We all have a role to play in building movement into everyday life, and we don't want cost to be a barrier to joining a brilliant day. The financial contributions from this year's conference will be used to enable future conferences. For paid tickets, fees of 6.95% and £0.59 plus tax per ticket are paid directly to Eventbrite.

Individuals and organisations interested in improving health, well-being, and active lifestyles. While many of our case studies are from within Greater Manchester, we warmly welcome and encourage attendees from outside the region. We will be sharing knowledge and resources that can be used globally.
Sign up for the conference on the Eventbrite page. If you would also like to join a workshop, make your selection in the order form in Eventbrite, when you complete your ticket order. We expect the workshops to fill up quickly, so please make sure to sign up in advance to avoid disappointment.
While we're not operating a wait-list for workshops, you are welcome to wait outside the door of the workshop on the day in case spaces become available.

Yes, there will be a live stream of the main sessions in the Lyric Theatre. We will also share recordings and resources from the day on our website and Youtube channel.
We all have a role to play in building movement into everyday life, and we don't want cost to be a barrier. We have a range of tickets available, including subsidised tickets for people attending as a volunteer or unable to get funding to join us. Please select the ticket that suits you best.
