About this event

  • Event lasts 8 hours

The AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run is the Midlands’ biggest and best running event. Starting & finishing in the heart of the city, soak up the incredible atmosphere, high-five your way along the course, experience your finish line moment and bask in the glory of your achievement. There’s everything you’d expect from a Great Run – notorious start line hype, top en-route entertainment and an event village that feels more like an after-party – but the carnival atmosphere and the passion and spirit of the runners is all Birmingham.

Fundraising Target: £250

We are there when it matters

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone.

Currently, only a third of our hospice funding comes from the government. This means we completely rely on the generosity of our amazing supporters to cover the remaining costs of our end of life care and services for grieving families.

75p in every £1 spent goes towards our palliative and bereavement support.
