Guided Family Cycle to Glenfiddich Lodge and Elf House cave

Join the Dorenell Rangers for a leisurely cycle up Glenfiddich to Glenfiddich Lodge and then beyond to the Elf House Cave. Aimed at families with older children who are starting to get more adventurous on their bikes, this route will cover a mix of terrain including tarmac, dirt wind farm roads and rough land rover track with multiple small river crossings. Even though some of the tracks can get a bit rough the terrain isn’t challenging apart from the river crossings which can be walked. We have allowed plenty of time for this guided cycle to allow us to talk about the landscapes and wildlife we see along the way and give us time to explore the Elf House cave. You will be accompanied by a trained MTB leader. If you’re a competent cyclist but don’t have a suitable mountain bike then both adult and children’s bikes can be hired from the DDCA via Community Type: Bikes - Dufftown Community.
