The Centre for Catalan Studies joins forces with the British Library

Join us on 8 May for a guided tour of the Catalan collection at the British Library, led by Dr Barry Taylor, Curator of Hispanic Printed Collections. Discover priceless early editions of works such as Ramon Llull’s writings, Ausiàs March's poetry, Tirant lo Blanc (1490) by Joanot Martorell, Verdaguer’s Canigó (1886), and unpublished material from Catalan political exiles during the Franco dictatorship. Dr Taylor will cater for special requests from those attending, but he will need to know details at least a week in advance. All inquiries should be addressed to: catalan-centre@qmul.ac.uk
Places are strictly limited, and registration via Eventbrite is essential. Please book only if you plan to attend.
