After a year of slumber, GameDevs North Halloween Party returns to Pixel Bar (10 Thomas St, Manchester M4 1DH) at 6-10pm on November 2nd!

Drinks, networking, indie showcase, gaming, charity, spooks, and more!

The profits from the event will be going to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

ABOUT MEDICAL AID FOR PALESTINIANS (MAP)

Medical Aid for Palestinians is a registered charity in England no. 1045315. MAP works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.

They provide immediate medical aid to those in great need, while also developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.

MAP's vision is a future where all Palestinians can access an effective, sustainable and locally-led system of healthcare, and the full realisation of their rights to health and dignity.

Through their programmes in the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem, and Lebanon, they work with trusted and experienced local partners to achieve this vision. Their programmes, designed and delivered by Palestinians, provide access to essential health services and build local knowledge and skills to address Palestinian health problems.

ABOUT THE TICKET

This is a ticketed event with limited quantities available. Tickets will be £15 per person and will be limited to 2 per person.

A vast majority of the ticket proceeds will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians but a small portion will be used to cover admin costs such as travel and one-night's accommodation for the two organisers, Anni and Rosie.

GameDevs North makes no profit from the events we organise.

Please be prepared to present your ticket upon arrival at the event. Your ticket(s) will be checked and exchanged for two "free" tickets for our charity raffle!

GAMEDEVS NORTH INDIE SHOWCASE:

Are you an indie developer looking to showcase your game at a relaxed setting for absolutely zero costs?

GameDevs North are excited to announce that at this year's Halloween Party, the PC room exclusively available to us will be used to showcase some phenomenal indie games to the attending members of the industry which include members of the media, publishers, and other developers.

The shortlisted titles will receive a free ticket to the event with the option to donate an amount of their choice to charity along with a space and equipment in the PC room.

CHARITY RAFFLE:

Every ticket holder will be given two (2) raffle tickets upon entry. You can buy spare tickets throughout the night by donating to MAP. Spare tickets start at £5.

RULES

Due to this being a bar, you must be over-18 to enter!

You must work in the games industry to attend this event or be accompanied by someone who does.

There'll be zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour towards other gamedevs at this event. We will be working with the venue staff to remove anyone who doesn't know how to behave.

TRAINS

Manchester Victoria is the closest station to the bar with about a 6min walk from the station to the bar. From Piccadilly you're looking at a 13min walk.
