About this event

Harmony Gardens is a community growing space in the Lordship Recreation Ground in the heart of Tottenham, London borough of Haringey. This hidden gem is a peaceful haven for wildlife and locals alike, with raised beds for growing organic vegetables, fruit trees and wildflowers. It also emcompasses a biodiverse wildlife garden with a wildlife pond, recently restored as part of Kew Gardens 'Grow Wild' Project.

Volunteer sessions run every Tuesday and Friday, from 12-5pm (12-3pm in the Winter) and the last Sunday of every month (10am-1pm). Feel free to drop in for as much time as you'd like - there's no set commitment needed (but of course we'd love it if you came by regularly!) There's not only plenty of gardening jobs to do, but also all sorts of DIY jobs, so if you have the tools and skills, you're more than welcome to lend a hand and your ideas.

We also run a free gardening skills course for all volunteers, where you can learn from our very knowledgeable project leader Ruth. Looking forward to seeing you!

We also offer corporate volunteering for groups. Please do not sign up here using multiple tickets but contact miked0wns@yahoo.co.uk to ensure a booking or visit - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/860810757147?aff=oddtdtcreator
