About this event
The future of health research with OpenSAFELY: How do we conduct the safest and highest quality health research?
We are running a series of workshops to hear your views about the future of health research with OpenSAFELY - https://www.opensafely.org/ - a software tool we built to enable high quality scientific research on health records, without compromising anyone's privacy. Our video explains the basics of OpenSAFELY: how it works, why it’s designed the way it is, and why that’s important.
In the workshops you'll get the chance to:
- Learn about the NHS England OpenSAFELY health research platform
- Share your views and perceptions about OpenSAFELY
- Explore what's important to you when using health data for research into a variety of health conditions
We will offer £50 for participating in a session, as a thank you for giving us some of your time.
Open to all!
This is about everyone's data, so everyone is welcome! We would particularly welcome people in communities less involved in health research (eg. people from minority ethnic groups, on low income or living with disabilities).
