About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Some children and young people seem to withdraw from life. Their anxiety becomes so severe that anything which might have helped seemed to make things worse. They may find it hard to come out of the bedrooms or to leave the house. Parents are left not knowing what to do next.

They won't talk about it, so you don't know how to start. They won't come out and engage in anything like therapy, so you are stuck.

This webinar will help you understand what is going on for your young person, and will include practical ways in which parents can help themselves and their children. You'll leave with a new way to think about what is happening, and some practical things to try.

This webinar is suitable for parents of young people with and without a diagnosis. It is suitable for all ages.

Participants from previous webinars have said:

That was a brilliantly engaging webinar last night

Amazing. I can’t tell you the sheer relief and gratitude parents feel to have professionals recognise what they’ve been saying for years!

Really thoughtful and informed session this evening from @naomicfisher. Many of us parents who have been blamed and alienated through our child's extreme distress and non -attendance at school are finally feeling hope for a positive future.
