Join our volunteer tour guide to find out more about what goes on behind the scenes at the Tamar Bridge. You'll see an area normally closed to the public, underneath the Bridge!

Tour lasts approx 1 hours 30 minutes.

Given the nature of the location, we may not be able to meet certain specific accessibility requirements. Please note because of the nature of the walkways under the bridge, this tour is for over 18s only.

Bridging the Tamar Visitor and Learning Centre

The Visitor and Learning Centre at the Tamar Bridge celebrates the engineering heritage of both the 20th century Tamar Bridge and Brunel’s iconic 19th century Royal Albert rail Bridge.

The Centre has free interactive exhibitions and is open daily 10-4 and has a learning and events programme which brings the bridges to life. There are talks, walks, family activities and guided tours throughout the year.
