Hidden Depths  is a series of photographic portraits and stories which subverts stereotypes and shines a fresh light on older life.

Laura Page&#x27;s <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-56252755" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Hidden Depths</a> is a series of photographic portraits and stories of people from across the UK which aims to show ageing in a positive light and defy stereotypes of what it is to be older. The project began to take shape when she won the <a href="https://rebeccavassietrust.org/award/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Vassie Award</a> for the proposal at the start of the pandemic in 2020.The exhibition portraying 31 photographic subjects will be held at YAS&#x27;s Persistence Works and will run concurrently with an exhibition of a series films she has made with some of the photographic subjects alongside an exhibition of images made by local communities in response to the theme of Reimagining Ageing and how I see myself. This will take place at <a href="https://lab4living.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lab4Living</a>&#x27;s White Building on Fitzalan Square.The Reimagining Ageing exhibition launch will be held immediately after the Hidden Depths project just a nine minute walk away. Some of us will walk form one to the other at 7.30pm accompanied by live music.
